The Management Board of Apex Bangladesh Foundation sanctioned and paid a loan of Tk. 5000/= to the National Association of Apex Clubs of Bangladesh in 1982 to enable the Association to release the medicine donated to them by Apex Australia. The Management Board in its meeting of 2nd May 1988 approved an educational Bursary Program with an initial sanction of Tk. 12000/= to give financial assistance to poor but meritorious student of class VII to X. Each bursary is of Tk. 100/= per month for a year of which 50% to be paid by recommending Apex Clubs. In the Annual General meeting of the Foundation held on 11 August 1988. The General Body approved this proposal of Foundation Bursary as “Apexian Suleman Khaan Bursary Fund” to commemorate the memory of late Apexian Suleman Khan, Father of Apex movement in Bangladesh.

The Management Board of Apex Foundation in its meeting held on 28th February 1989 sanctioned a total bursary of Tk. 7200/= to 12 Poor but meritorious students of Class VII to X of Tk. 600/= each of 10 Apex Clubs in Bangladesh on merit basis. This bursary is being given every year such as in 1994 Tk. 13000/= to 26 students of 11 different Apex Clubs @ Tk. 500/= each, 1995 Tk. 7000/= to 14 students @ Tk. 500/= each, 1996 Tk. 15500/= to 31 students of 10 different Apex Clubs@ Tk. 500/= each, 1997 – Tk. 15000/= to 30 students of 13 different Apex Clubs of Bangladesh @ Tk. 500/= each, 1999-Tk. 12000/= to 24 students of 13 different Apex Clubs @ Tk. 500/= each from Apex Foundation Fund. Tk. 5000/= distributed to more 10 students from the donation of Mr. M.A. Hai, Patron of Apex Foundation @ Tk. 500/= each. In the year 2000 Tk. 23000/= to 46 poor but meritorious students of 20 clubs @ Tk. 500/= each. In the year 2001 Tk. 17500/= distributed to 35 poor but meritorious students of 13 Clubs. The Management Board decided to change the system of distribution of ‘Suleman Khan Bursary’ Fund as such educational materials are being distributed each year. In addition many other projects have also been implemented by this organization which are:

(1) Arranged civic reception to 4(four) talented personalities of our country for outstanding contributions in their respective fields and honoured with Apex Bangladesh Foundation Award 1993. These personalities were (1) Mr. M.A Zaher for invention of zaharite stone (2) Dr. M.A Razzaque for successful research in Agricultural Science (3) Mr. Mustafa Zaman Abbasi for Folk Culture and (4) Mrs. Ferdousi Majumder for Drama.

(2) Distributed clothes to the less fortunate boys and girls during Eid-ul-Fitr.

(3) Distributed relief materials amounting to Tk. 10000/= to the victims of Narayanganj; through Apex Club of Narayanganj during the country wide devastating flood ’98, More over medical aid facilities also provided by the active participation of Apex Club of Dhaka North.

(4) Distributed books worth Tk. 700/= to Shahidul Islam, a meritorious student of Pirganj, Rangpur who used to pull Ricksha during his spare time to meet his educational expenses.

(5) Life Member Belayet Hussain Sikder died suddenly leaving behind his widow, one University going daughter and a college going son. Apex Bangladesh Foundation assisted Tk. 17500/= to the family of late Belayet Hussain Sikder for prosecution of studies of his son@ Tk. 1000/= every month out of the donation of members of Management Board.

(6) Also donated Tk. 3000/= to Shahidul Islam of Pirganj for prosecution of his studies.
